Me as a person, I have changed a lot even though I’ve been here for only a year, it feels as if I took a lot in since I’ve been here. But not everything is positive, but that’s how you learn. You learn from the little mistakes that can make a big impact on life. But I have changed a lot as a person and people around me changed as well even if I didn’t know them for along time, I can see what little changes were made out of me through out this year at Gaston College Preparatory. The changes aren’t big, but are big enough to change me as a person. J

As a student I have grown a ton because in each of my classes each teacher can tell you how much I have grown through out the year, especially in Algebra. Because Algebra was hard for me and it’s not as hard now but I still need more help and asking for help this year made me become a better student.

What a beautiful day.

Birds are is singing

I find myself standing where I was born

And see that I’m at my birthplace.

Nieces & Nephews running and playing

I’m sky diving off a plane

Into the land of my ancestors

I see everyone working trying to make a living.

It’s dark

I find myself lying down

Floating in space

The vodka bottle sits open on her dresser
half empty,
half dead.
The setting sun reflects off the smooth glass,
creating a prism of rainbow light.
It could almost be beautiful,
almost be perfect, if you don’t stare too hard,
don’t get too close.
No one would ever know
that the stale smell of liquor was always so thick
it seemed to seep through the paint in the walls.
No one would ever know that empty bottles
happened often around here,
as if they grew from the weeds in the yard.
And no one would ever know
how often her lips kissed those bottles
in a romance all their own.My mother sits on her bed,
half empty,
half dead.
The setting sun reflects off her smooth cheeks,
making her skin glow abnormally warm.
She could almost be beautiful, almost be perfect,
if you don’t stare too hard, don’t get too close.

When you’re alone, and you have no one to

talk to at the moment, you feel jealous because you see everyone talking to someone and you don’t. And other people see that you’re mad they tell you “Why are you not so glad. Be glad.” But you can’t become peaceful so quick you have to tell the ones that made you “ick” why you are so mad. You tell them you just realized your mad because your so sad.

Should girls under the age of 18?

Should girls be able to an abortion, no? Should girls under the age of 18 have an abortion, no? I think that girls shouldn’t have an abortion if they are under the age of 18 because it was there choice to lay there and have sex with that boy. And another reason is that even though that hasn’t been born yet they are still living, living inside of you. So the boy doesn’t use anything to protect himself so he gets the girls pregnant. So I think girls shouldn’t get abortion because what if that baby can become someone important that could have helped us. What if Obama’s mom had got a abortion on him, then he wouldn’t be running for President. So think how would you feel if your parents had got an abortion on you?
